On behalf of the Organizing Committee and IATDM&CT Council, we have the pleasure of inviting you to join the International Conference “Therapeutic Drug Monitoring in Optimizing the Immunosuppressive Therapy”, held in Warsaw, Poland from 26 to 27 September 2008.

We are truly happy that IATDM&CT President, Professor David W. Holt, as well as many other Opinion Leaders in TDM will attend the meeting. We are also thankful to the Polish top authorities for their recognition of our work, and to the Rector of the Warsaw Medical University who has kindly agreed to hold the honorary patronage over the Conference.

• We would like to invite lecturers to present the most recent knowledge on therapeutic drug monitoring of immunosuppressive agents, the lecturers who are all internationally recognized experts on TDM and pharmacokinetics of immunosuppressive drugs.
• We will attempt to find more new creative members from the Central and Eastern Europe.
• Lying in the heart of Central Europe, the Polish capital - Warsaw - with its heroic history and modern aspirations is definitely the right place for our meeting. We truly believe that scientific paths from East to West and from North to South can successfully meet in Warsaw.

In the next few months we are planning to keep you updated on the details of the agenda and the prerequisites of attendance at our meeting. We are also planning some social events and you will have a chance to experience the historical, cultural and culinary hallmarks of Warsaw and Poland. This will be an excellent opportunity for colleagues from different European countries to build up collaboration and friendships.

It will be a great honor to host you in Poland and we are looking forward to meeting you in September 2008.
